At Andrews University, Nicholas Gunn serves as a writer for the Office of University Communication. Since joining the team in Fall 2022, he has contributed to telling the university’s story by pitching and writing compelling articles that highlight Andrews’ local and global impact among students, faculty, staff, and community partners.
In addition to writing feature stories, Nicholas has crafted internal communication emails and official memos on behalf of university executives and vice presidents, ensuring that messages are clear, professional, and aligned with institutional values. He also helps manage the university’s social media presence across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok; helping to boost engagement and visibility.
Nicholas has worked with local media outlets to secure external coverage for university initiatives and has collaborated with community leaders, businesses, and nonprofits to broaden the university’s outreach. His role also includes covering events through photography and videography, capturing meaningful moments and elevating the university’s public image.
Working closely with the Director of University Communication, Nicholas regularly contributes to developing marketing strategies and social media content, supporting the university’s mission through creative, strategic communication. His experience at Andrews has deepened his skills in storytelling, media relations, digital strategy, and executive communications.
